I have started the new school year excited and inspired as I have in the past... looking forward to creating little miracles with little children :). There is however a special feeling. This year will be unlike any other. This year there will be inspiration, optimism, hope, and love. It will be there because I will be that. The most incredible part is that I will be a reflection of the amazing staff that I am surrounded by. Teachers and staff members that have such great determination and love for their profession and more so their students. Together this year we will create an environment in our school where every child will Be Anything They Want To Be. With our guidance, our support, our experience and our love we will create miracles everyday. The Red Cards exist and so do many opportunities for our students to learn, grow and empower themselves to be the best they can be.

The Power of Little Minds
The Power of Little Minds is a curriculum that has been created to help children be their best. It is teaching children to find in themselves character traits and ways of being that bring out their best and bring out the truly amazing human beings that they are. A red card is placed on each child's desk reminding them, reminding the teacher, reminding everyone how to tap into the power of their minds and their hearts.

There is so much thought and compassion to this project. It nourishes the spirit in all of us and gives us hope in knowing the "little minds" of our children are being exposed to practices which lead to great wisdom.
By incorporating these "red cards" into all our schools, we can help children more easily recognize their potential, take steps to create balance in their lives, and at the same time, cultivate self-worth and self-awareness. Infinite love and gratitude to Lucia and her colleagues for this brilliant work.
